NFF offer Keshi new contract worth N7m a month

According to new reports, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has tabled a new deal for Stephen Keshi worth about N7m per month.
Keshi, whose previous deal ran out after the 2014 World Cup, was earning N5m per month. The Big Boss was heavily linked with the South Africa job, but after SAFA chose a new manager, the Big Boss is expected to sign the new contract and continue with the Super Eagles.
“We have had meetings with Keshi and the good news is that he is willing to continue as coach of the Super Eagles,” an NFF official told African Football.

“He is only concerned that most of the fringe benefits in his contract were not provided and demands better treatment from the Federation.
“I think the first step was a success and we will build on it because the (2015 Africa Cup of Nations) qualifiers are not far away.”

The African champions will begin the defence of their title in September. They have been drawn against Sudan, South Africa and Congo/Rwanda.
