Unreal Roller coaster of emotions as Ronaldo assisted with a goal which brought back the Portugese side to a draw with USA. Portugal stared leading the game with an early goal but were unable to maintain the scoreline.
Team USA came from 1 goal down to score a remarkable two goals to lead the game, fans jubilating everywhere with joy hoping that they have qualified for the next round. They came from behind to lead 2-1 on sunday and looked to have ended Portugal's World cup campaign in Manaus, but unfortunately Portugal made a remarkable come back with a dramatic 90mins plus extra time crossing from Ronaldo who was free on the right and picked out Varela who powered a header past Tim Howard and went straight to the back of the net. The game finally ended on a 2 - 2 draw between the two sides.
But Varela's late header ensured the top two positions in Group G remain up for grabs with Germany (4points) on top, level with USA, while Hana and Portugal both have slim chances of advancing with one point each.
