World Cup: Nigeria, through to the Round of 16




The Super Eagles of Nigeria is the first African team to qualify for the round of 16 at the ongoing FIFA World Cup. The defending African Champions played against a better side today but impacted a lot beyond the expectations of the football fans around the world and Nigeria in particular because fans with happy with the outcome of the game though they lost the game to Argentina. The CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa was superb in his performance today by scoring twice against the Argentines, which made him the first Nigerian player to score against in a match in the FIFA World Cup finals. Despite the fact that they scored against the Argentines, Musa urged his team to work harder in the next encounter.
